As direct recipients of Scholarship for Service (SFS) funds to community colleges and piloting the SFS education model that prepares students with degrees and recognized credentials to fill the cybersecurity workforce needs, Sinclair Community College, Brookdale Community College, and Moraine Valley Community College have developed The Scholarship for Service (SFS) Toolkit: Tips for Optimizing Grant Award Success. This toolkit shares best practices and lessons learned from proposal to program implementation for other project teams, faculty members, and grant writers who embark on the SFS grant journey.
